What data is collected

Last Read Marker saves the following data when you explicitly click “Save current page”:

• The URL of the page
• The page title
• Your scroll position (stored as a fraction of the page height)
• The timestamp of when you saved it

How it is stored

This data is stored in chrome.storage.sync, which is Chrome’s built-in sync storage. It is synced across your Chrome devices via your Google account. No data is sent to any server operated by this extension.

What data is NOT collected

• No browsing history is collected passively
• No analytics or telemetry
• No cookies, credentials, or personal identifiers
• No data is ever sold or shared with third parties

How to delete your data

Open the extension popup and click “Delete” on any saved entry, or uninstall the extension to remove all stored data.
